chris elliott

pretty much every time i grow/have a beard i hear these words: "oh my gosh... chris elliott...ya...totally!!"

so guess what? that's right; i'm hearing it again. which is ok w/ me, cuz i like chris elliott - his sense of non-sense and ridiculousness, etc. i just wish his tv show('get a life') was still on the tube via reruns or something.

week 5 pictures will be taken tomorrow(tues.) pm. and i'm just glad it's starting to get cooler outside. cold weather and big beards just seem to go together well; like caramel and macchiatos or popcorn and movies. i don't understand how people can have these huge, massive beards in the heat of summer. i just hope they don't work outside; it's like having a blanket or a sherpa on your face...did i mention it's perfect for fall/winter weather??

as the beards get bigger, the pledges slowly roll in. it's been a huge boost to get a phone call and/or email from friends, family, new friends, etc. saying they plan on giving/donating to help us get that well built. thank you if you can read this! please help us spread the good word as we are more focused now than ever to tell people why our faces are covered in furry coats. . .

and in about 10 more days i'll be taking another picture of our mascot, sake the bearded dragon. it's been amazing watching him grow right before my eyes. i think he's doubling in size every 25-30 days; he's almost ready to graduate to medium sized crickets; craaaazy, eh?

enjoy the sunny days while we have 'em; should be clear, bright and in the low 80's all week : bring on the octoberfests!
